About

Hello! I am Tatiana, and since you're here, I suspect that you share my love for craftsmanship and vintage finds, and the transformative power of curated spaces. Or, perhaps, you feel that in our modern world of sterile minimalism, more can actually be more, and are here for a bit of opulence to break up the mundane. I am so glad you found me!
I relish turning on the lamps in my home at sundown. This small ritual and the warm glow that follows signal transition from the demands of the day to the serenity of the evening that I enjoy so much. I hope to share that feeling with you through my creations.

Living in Boston with its rich history and many treasures, I would often find myself disheartened to see the many cool old lamps discarded with the trash or collecting dust at thrift shops. All they needed was a bit of TLC, a rewiring and a new lampshade. Could I have what it takes to restore them to their former glory?
I first picked up a sewing needle long before I could reliably hold it without stabbing my tiny fingers. I've also explored numerous fiber arts throughout my life, so I had a good base in embroidery and working with fabric. I was not terribly intimidated by the prospect of light electrical work either - my ever-tinkering airplane mechanic grandfather inspired me to be self-reliant and unafraid to tackle repair projects around the house.

I am so glad that one fateful day I took the leap and set off on my vintage lighting journey. Before long, I developed a passion for vintage lampshade design and was totally hooked on reviving neglected electrical treasures.
Helping my customers craft ambience through light and indulging in unapologetically sumptuous lampshades has been such a joy! Thank you for supporting my small business and this off-the-beaten-path craft. I am truly grateful for the opportunity to brighten your nights!
