Angie is a small vintage brass and glass bedside lamp complete with a pink and blue hand-stitched Victorian-inspired lampshade. It measures 18" (total height) by 8" (shade width) and weighs 2lbs 7oz.
The lampshade has low opacity and features dusty rose silk, reclaimed vintage navy blue velvet, ombré-effect floral lace in shades of blue, pink and midnight blue trims, and an iridescent iceberg blue glass bead fringe. This lampshade has a spider fitting with a clip-on adapter.
The lamp body is in great condition with minor age-appropriate wear. It was probably produced sometime in the 1940’s-50’s. There’s been a repair to the metal base that is not distracting as it blends well with the ornamentation. The switch style on this lamp is push-thru.
Fun fact: the navy blue velvet was part of a vintage bolero jacket in its previous life.
